Andersen Wrecking was started in 1937 by Ray Andersen in downtown Gibbon, Nebraska.  

In 1960 we moved to our currently location in Kearney, Nebraska and began purchasing metals and vehicles and expanded our parts business.

We purchased Stan’s Auto Parts in 1989 and began Andersen Auto Parts. From that location, we offered classic and older model vehicle parts at a discounted price. In 2009, we decided it was time for a change and we took down the original building and revenoated the entire property to allow us to give customers a chance to remove their own auto parts so we could offer those parts at a lowest price possible. During that process we crushed over 1,400 vehicles and made room to set up over 1,700 vehicles and motorcycles.

We had our grand opening in 2011 and have seen customers return repeatedly enjoying our discount prices and clean and organized facility.
